As expected from a business whose job is training others, ProgressiveSports takes the responsibility of training its franchisees extremely seriously.
5-Day Franchise Training
Your initial Franchise training takes place at our Head Office, and will lift the lid on everything you need to know about running your own successful Sports Franchise. We will cover everything from Operations, Marketing & Sales, Recruitment, Customer Care, Services and much more.
Annual Franchise Training
The last week of August is always reserved for our Franchise Training week, which sees all our franchisees from around the UK descend on Staffordshire for an action packed week. The training includes business training, professional development, guest speakers and an opportunity for the sharing of best practice across the whole network.
Business Growth Days
We hold three Business Growth days per year which are held at the Head Office. These days are simply about supporting each other and pushing each other’s business forward.
1:1 Business Visits
We make it our mission to support every franchisee in a very personable way. That is why we like to get out of the office and visit each franchisee at least once a year. The visits are there to help franchisees move their business forward.
Courses & Webinars
From time to time we will put on different courses to support staff development or host webinars that support the growth of the franchise.

Kevin’s found himself in between positions after leaving Crystal Palace FC as a director. His passion for sport and improving the lives of children through physical activity led him to Progressive Sports and Kevin is the companies longest standing Franchisee.

Both Liam and Mauro met while working for their local council delivering PE & sport into schools and the local community. It wasn’t long before they wanted to take control things and run their own business and after nearly 10 years as a Franchisee that dream is more than a reality.

Both Kris & Pete’s change of career was sparked by their involvement in coaching their children’s football team, which led them to do their FA coaching qualifications and helped them to decide that the corporate rat race wasn’t for them anymore. Which then led them to pursue becoming their own boss doing something they loved!
Franchisee since 2015
Adam started his journey as a Sports Coach in Stoke-on-Trent, working for Port Vale FC and then joining the Head Office team at Progressive Sports, where he climbed the ranks during a 7 year period before then taking the step to becoming our Franchisee for Derbyshire and Nottingham.
